Tyreek Hill's newborn daughter hospitalized in alarming emergency

Tyreek Hill's Daughter Hospitalized, Ex-Wife Shares Details
Tyreek Hill’s eight-month-old daughter was taken to the emergency room after showing symptoms of illness on Wednesday night in Miami, according to his estranged ex-wife, Keeta Vaccaro. The incident occurred as the family dealt with ongoing tensions following a domestic dispute that led to their divorce filing.
Vaccaro, who filed for divorce from the Dolphins All-Pro wideout on April 8, shared her experience on Instagram. She described how her daughter, Capri, began feeling unwell, displaying signs of lethargy and a slight fever. Vaccaro quickly reached out to Dr. Jared Friedman, a members-only concierge emergency pediatrician in Miami, who arranged for immediate care. According to Vaccaro, Capri is now doing much better.
“I called @drjaredmiami, and within minutes, he had us straight into the ER with an incredible team waiting for us,” Vaccaro wrote. “Blood work, viral panels, cultures, done swiftly and gently.”
She posted an image of Capri sitting on a hospital bed in a medical gown, along with screenshots of text messages between herself and Dr. Friedman. In one message, Dr. Friedman provided details about the process, including the location of the pediatric ER entrance and the names of the medical staff who would be assisting them.
“Will follow at home. We got this. Whatever you need,” Dr. Friedman wrote. Vaccaro also included a note about the free valet service and the availability of a registration nurse named Ana, who was waiting for them.
Vaccaro did not provide further information about Capri’s condition, but she expressed gratitude for the quick response and the care provided during the late-night emergency.
Tyreek Hill’s Recent Activities and Legal Issues
Meanwhile, the Dolphins reported that Hill missed practice Wednesday due to an “undisclosed injury.” He later boarded the team’s private plane to Chicago for their first preseason game of 2025 against the Bears. In a video posted by the Dolphins’ official X account, Hill smiled and flashed a peace sign while getting on the plane.
Hill’s personal life has been under scrutiny since his divorce filing. On April 8, Vaccaro cited the marriage as “irretrievably broken” — a day after police responded to a domestic dispute at their Miami residence, where Capri was present. According to an incident report, Vaccaro’s mother, Alesia Vaccaro, called 911 after witnessing Hill throw a laptop on the floor and walk toward a 35-floor balcony with her granddaughter. Police did not make any arrests and stated that the child appeared to be in good health.
The Dolphins released a statement saying they were in communication with Hill, who has been the subject of trade rumors throughout the offseason. During a practice in May, Hill told reporters that he had attended church and therapy weeks prior. He emphasized his commitment to being a great father and leader on the team.
“My job is just to be a great father to all of my kids and be the best player I can be and be the best leader I can be for these guys in this locker room, man,” Hill said.
In June, Hill was spotted holding hands with an unnamed woman during a pool day in Orlando, raising questions about his personal life. Hill and Vaccaro married during the Dolphins’ bye week in November 2023. They were featured in the first season of Netflix’s “WAGs to Riches,” which premiered in January.
