Protein-Packed Snickerdoodle Latte Recipe!

A Delicious Way to Boost Your Protein Intake
If you're a fan of the warm and cozy flavors of a Snickerdoodle cookie, then you'll definitely want to try this protein-packed Snickerdoodle Latte. This drink combines the flavors of a cinnamon roll and a birthday cake protein shake with cold brew and sweet caramel flavoring. It's like sipping on a dessert while also fueling your body with protein. The latte is topped with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel, and a sprinkle of cinnamon toast crunch seasoning. Whether it's a post-gym workout treat or an afternoon pick-me-up, this drink is sure to satisfy your cravings.
Many people struggle to consume enough protein while also craving sweets. This Snickerdoodle Protein Latte is a great way to boost your protein intake and satisfy those sugar cravings. I often make this after a leg day workout or a long run to help fuel my body. While it can contain 60 grams of protein, I take my time drinking it so that it doesn't all come at once. If you prefer a lower protein content, you can halve the protein shakes to get 30 grams of protein instead.
Whenever I make a proffee, I always make one for my workout partner as well. You can never have too many taste-testers! When I told her what was next to be sampled, she decided to 'take one for the team' and tried a Starbucks Snickerdoodle Latte from their secret menu the day before. She compared it to my version and found that the protein-packed Snickerdoodle Latte was better. It had all the flavor she expected from the Starbucks version, plus the added benefit of protein.

Ingredients for a Snickerdoodle Proffee
- Premier Protein Birthday Cake: If you can't find a birthday cake shake, you can make a vanilla shake and add birthday cake flavoring.
- Premier Protein Cinnamon Roll Shake: If you can't find a cinnamon roll shake, consider using a caramel with cinnamon flavoring.
- Skinny Syrups Caramel Flavoring: You can also use a sugar-free option if preferred.
- Wandering Bear Cold Brew: Alternatively, you can use espresso shots, regular cold brew, or decaf coffee if you don’t want caffeine.
- Whipped Topping: Using a fat-free whipped topping is a good zero-point or low-calorie option.
- Skinny Syrups Caramel Syrup: Other brands that are sugar-free will work as well, just be sure to check the macros or points.
- Cinnamon Toast Crunch Seasoning
Note: If you want a lower protein amount, you can halve each protein shake to make it 30 grams of protein instead of 60.
What Is a Proffee?
A proffee is simply coffee with a protein shake in place of creamer. You can use already flavored protein shakes like salted caramel, chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, or mocha. Adding sugar-free syrups is a great way to change the flavors of the coffee. Skinny Girl Drink syrups are one of my favorites to add to my proffees.
I love using the Pure Protein Ready to Drink shakes because they are only 1 Weight Watchers point, and Premier Protein Ready to Drink shakes are 3 WW Points. In addition to being low in points, these drinks are also keto-friendly.
How to Make a Snickerdoodle Latte
- Grab your cup for your proffee. I used a 40-ounce glass tumbler, but any cup would work. If you're making this with two protein shakes, you'll need a large tumbler.
- Drizzle the caramel syrup in your cup as much as you want. The Skinny Syrups Caramel has 17 tablespoons and is still zero points, with a fantastic flavor that adds sweetness to your drink.
- PRO TIP: I didn't notice until I started that the syrups recommend refrigeration for a firmer syrup drizzle. Nothing was wrong with it, but the sauce is thicker if it’s chilled.
- Brew or measure out your coffee or espresso. Remember you can add as much or as little for zero points, but be mindful of the time of day for the amount of caffeine.
- Pour in both the Cinnamon Roll and Birthday Cake protein shake, coffee, and caramel flavoring. The order doesn’t matter, but if your coffee is hot, it will melt off some of the caramel on the cup.
- Note: I didn't have a clean pump for this bottle, so I measured out an ounce on a food scale; a pump is about a 1/4 ounce. You can make this sweeter with more flavoring if you want.
- Use a milk frother to blend the flavors. You can do this for as long as you want, and the drink will bubble as it mixes.
- Optional: Add ice. You can also put this in the blender before topping it to make a blended cold brew or smoothie. I don’t add a bunch because my cold brew is already cold.
- Garnish with whipped topping, caramel sauce, and cinnamon toast seasoning! You can use as much or as little of this as you want.
- Enjoy! You can mix the drink with the whipped topping, but I like to put my straw in and drink some before mixing more.
Weight Watchers Points for a Snickerdoodle Proffee
Now, be sure to use your calculator to verify point values. When I posted this in February 2025, the Premier protein Cinnamon Roll protein shake was 2 points, and the Birthday Cake was 3 points. That makes the total drink 5 points and 60 grams of protein!
